SPECIAL FORCES REGIMENT OPENS 3 CLASSES TO TRAIN ARMY PARATROOPERS
THE SPECIAL Forces Regiment opened three classes to capacitate troops in various aspects of airborne operations.
The joint opening ceremony for the Basic Airborne Course Class 135, Jumpmaster Course Class 87-B and Parachute Packing Course Class 54-B was led by Philippine Army’s Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, G3, Colonel Alvin V. Luzon.
The event was held at the regiment’s headquarters in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on October 5, 2022.
During the program, SFR(A) Commander Colonel Ferdinand B. Napuli awarded Luzon with the Special Forces Honorary membership in recognition of his meritorious service and for possessing the virtues of courage and determination, the hallmarks of every Special Forces Operator.
Army public affairs office chief Col. Xerxes Trinidad said that PA Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner, Jr. has emphasized the need to enhance the skills and capabilities of soldiers lthrough the conduct of regular training exercises.
