SOLON WANTS TO BRING NEW PERSPECTIVE ON QUALITY EDUCATION

/ 21 February 2025

DUMAGUETE CITY – Las Piñas City Representative Camille Villar expressed her belief on Thursday (20 Feb 2025) that she can offer a fresh perspective on the persistent issues facing Filipinos, particularly on education and housing, as she runs for senator in the May 2025 elections.

“I believe I can bring a new perspective from the world I grew up in. There are new views and ways of doing things that we see here in the Philippines and abroad, which I want to bring to legislation and programs. It’s time for members of my generation to step up,” Villar said.

Villar, passionate about encouraging entrepreneurship among young Filipinos, said her priorities also include housing, quality education, and health.

“My goal is to ensure that every Filipino family can own a home and land, and that every Filipino has access to quality education,” she added during a press conference for the administration slate at the Negros Oriental Convention Center.

“I know these problems have been recurring, but as a millennial starting my own family, I now see the concerns of my generation,” she said.
