SENATORS Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano reiterated their support to teachers and promised to push for measures to protect their welfare.

At the same time, the siblings donated tables to nearly 40 teachers in Cavite and Pampanga.

This move aims to support the government’s goal of ensuring uninterrupted learning on the aftermath of Typhoon Carina.

The sibling senators’ Emergency Response Department delivered the tables to Sineguelasan Elementary School in Bacoor City, coordinating with school Administrative Officer II Oliver Laforteza.

With the help of Masantol Mayor Tonton Bustos, the teachers at Sta. Lucia National High School in Masantol also benefited from the initiative.

The ERD team is set to return to the high school division to provide chalkboards.
