SCHOOLS, COLLEGES ACCEPT TUITION PAYMENT VIA GCASH
STUDENTS can now pay tuition online after some universities and colleges partnered with GCash to provide a more convenient payment scheme.
In its Facebook page, the University of Mindanao announced recently that students can pay their school fees through GCash.
Other universities and colleges that also accept payments via GCash are the University of East, National Teachers College, APEC School, De La Salle University, Ateneo University, University of Cebu, University of the Philippines, Lyceum of the Philippines-Manila, Holy Angel University, Far Eastern University, University of Makati, University of Immaculate Concepcion and Silliman University.
Enderun College Senior Vice President and one of the school’s co-founders, Daniel Perez, said that the college adapted the GCash payment scheme because of its accessibility.
“We choose only the best partners who present the most innovative and accessible solutions to the needs of our students, and this is why we have launched our cashless campus with GCash. This move will surely be beneficial for the entire Enderun community,” Perez said.
GCash is an online payment which has 20 million users, has ties to industry leaders Ayala Corp., Globe Telecom, and Ant Financial in the Philippines.
GCash users can load their accounts in over 13,000 cash-in outlets.
