CAMARINES Sur 2nd District Rep. Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte filed a measure to establish the National Commission on Entrepreneurial Education.

House Bill 5629 or the proposed Entrepreneurial Education Promotion Act aims to guide future business owners and operators to be competent.

Villafuerte said Filipino students need to learn the principles of free enterprise and understand the importance of business ownership and job creation. The NCEE aims to encourage students to pursue entrepreneurship.

Under the measure, the commission shall study the methods of teaching elementary and secondary school students about the free enterprise system.

It will also study government efforts in other countries and later submit recommendations to improve the entrepreneurial education in the country.
