PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte said that he will ask his daughter Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carpio to continue his fight against drugs and to ensure that children will not fall into the bad vice.

Duterte-Carpio will head the Department of Education under the administration of President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

“But this time, kung wala na ako, sabihin ko na lang kay Inday, ‘Take over. Ikaw na ang… Kunin mo ‘yang trabahong…’ Biro mo ‘yang Department of Education, maraming bata diyan. Do not ever allow contamination diyan,” the older Duterte said.

The President vowed to continue his war on drugs even after his term.

“In a few days, I will no longer be President. Pero itong mga droga ‘wag talaga silang…baka maglukso sila sa kaligayahan. I will continue to operate. Bahala na kung papaano basta I will continue to operate against the drug menace,” he said.

Duterte’s term will end on June 30, 2022.
