THE UNIBERSIDAD de Manila advised students to update their Gcash accounts for a smoother transfer of allowance provided by the city.

“To all UDM students who are officially enrolled, kindly update the details of your personal information (address, barangay, district, town, zipcode, etc.),” the school said in its Facebook page.

“This is to facilitate the GCash payment as per advised by the Manila City Hall. Incomplete details may defer any allowance you may receive via GCash,” said the school, adding that GCash accounts with wrong or incomplete details may lose its validity for the money transfer.

The Manila City government launched a scholarship program in 2019 for students of the school and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila to receive a monthly allowance of P1,000.

Meanwhile, the school advised those who passed the entrance exams to submit their enrollment documents at their registrar online.

The UDM has yet to announce the opening of its classes.
