UP LAW STUDENTS SHINE IN INT’L CRIMINAL COURT MOOT COURT TILT
LAW students from the University of the Philippines finished as quarterfinalists in the 2023 IBA International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition.
The UP Law team was composed of Mary Regine Dadole, Arthur Anthony Saulong, Mackie Valenzuela, Chinzen Viernes and Jon Gabriel Villanueva.
They were the 1st Runner Up Best Government Counsel Team.
Meanwhile, Dadole received the Best Government Counsel Speaker award and the IBA Award for Best Overall Speaker for being the top speaker among all participants in the competition.
The ICCMCC is a simulation of the International Criminal Court, where teams compete in a large scale moot court simulating the proceedings of the International Criminal Court.
It is the world’s largest competition on international criminal law, with more than 87 teams from 50 countries taking part this year.
