THE UNIVERSITY of the Philippines Institute of Writing is now accepting entries for its issue of Likhaan: The Journal of Contemporary Philippine Literature.

Likhaan Journal is published annually with funding from the University of the Philippines. It features the best of new and unpublished Philippine writing in both English and Filipino, and is open to all Filipinos, whether based in the country or abroad.

Entries undergo a strict pre-screening process by both the editors and a panel of referees composed of eminent writers and critics from within and outside UP.

University professor Anna Felicia Sanchez will serve as editor, with UP Prof. Victor Emmanuel Carmelo as associate editor for this issue.

Likhaan is the Philippines’ leading literary peer-reviewed journal.
