UNIVERSITY OF ANTIQUE GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR CPD TRAINING
THE PROFESSIONAL Regulation Commission has allowed the University of Antique to become a continuing professional development provider, the university announced on Monday.
UA said that it can now provide affordable and accessible training to teachers in the province.
A roster of experts from the university will train the trainees.
Aside from teachers, UA is also developing trainings for professionals from other fields.
Dr. Pablo S. Crespo Jr., UA president, hopes that the new program will help address the problems of professionals who need to attend expensive seminars to comply with requirements in their province.
The university has appointed Dr. Jennel Orantes, director for Continuing Education and Training Services, as the project manager of the program.
