SOUTHERN LEYTE STATE U MAIN CAMPUS STILL ON LOCKDOWN
THE MAIN campus of the Southern Leyte State University in Sogod remains on lockdown after one of its employees tested positive for Covid19.
In its official website, SLSU confirmed that 35 personnel who had contact with the patient were placed on quarantine while waiting for the result of their RT-PCT test.
The student is recovering from the disease, the school said.
The university coordinated with the Sogod Inter-Agency Task Force and the Municipal Health Office for the disinfection of the campus.
The school was locked down on September 7.
SLSU President Prose Ivy Yepes urged employees to always follow and observe health protocols to protect themselves, their families and colleagues.
