THE SAMAR State University forged a partnership agreement with the IES University in Bhopal, India to boost its global educational collaborations.

A memorandum of understanding was signed by key officials of the two universities last month.

The collaboration will enhance educational opportunities and cultural exchange programs of SSU and IESU. They will participate in faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects and academic cooperation.

“This partnership is an outgrowth of the participation of SSU President Dr. Marilyn D. Cardoso and Dr. Irene at the International Innovation and Creativity Conclave V 2.0 on May 28-30, 2023 at Andra Pradesh, India leading both Institutions to each other,” SSU said.

“This collaboration is expected to pave the way for a fruitful exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices that will enrich the educational experiences of students and faculty alike from both universities,” it added.

The signing ceremony was attended by IESU Vice Chancellor Dr. S. K. Sohani and its Director for Corporate Communication Prof. Manisha Kawthekar and SSU Officer-In-Charge Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Ma. Lourdes Amante and its Director for International Affairs Dr. Elmer Irene.
