SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY CLOSES CAMPUSES FOR DISINFECTION
THE CAMPUSES of the Saint Louis University in Baguio City will be closed for disinfection, the university announced today.
In a post on Facebook, the school said that its Main, Navy Base, Maryheights, and Gonzaga campuses will be closed down from October 28 to 30, 2020.
“As part of SLU’s continuing response to the Covid19 pandemic, SLU campuses (Main, Navy Base, Maryheights, and Gonzaga) will be closed effective today, 28 October 2020 (Wednesday), until 30 October 2020 (Friday) for intensified university-wide disinfection efforts in offices and buildings,” the university said.
“Thus, work in all offices will be suspended on the said dates. However, classes will proceed as usual,” it added.
Classes and work at the university will also be suspended on November 2 in observance of All Souls’ Day.
“Per memo dated 27 October 2020 on the suspension of work and classes on 2 November 2020 (Monday) for the observance of All Souls’ Day, work and classes will resume on 3 November 2020 (Tuesday),” it said.
