THE PALAWAN State University and the Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation signed a memorandum of agreement on the grant of scholarships to student-athletes.

Under the agreement, a male and female athlete will receive scholarship grant for four years.

The grant will cover tuition, monthly allowance and travel expenses for local and international competitions.

“PSU is grateful that POSF extended its support to PSU student-athletes and that the MOA signing will be the start of a historical development of Obstacle spots in Palawan,” PSU Sports Director Vincent Esguerra said.

POSF representatives Albert Agra and PSU President Ramon Docto met on Monday for the signing via Zoom.

The university has started the vaccination of teenagers aged 12 to 17 in collaboration with the City Health Office.
