STUDENTS from the Philippine Science High School Soccsksargen Campus won in the 4th International Math Open for Young Achievers.

Yama Raj Maniago bagged the gold and silver medals in the team and individual category, respectively.

On the other hand, Maine Azlei Estrellan and Francis Matthew Bretaña were the bronze medalists for both team and individual category.

The competition was held in Singapore last March 24-27, 2023.

Hosted by the Skillshare based in Singapore, the IMOYA engages students in a math exploratory activity that centers on relating math to the real world, making students active learners and giving them a sense of achievement.

It is open to students from the Middle Primary (Grades 3 and 4), Upper Primary (Grades 5 and 6), Junior High School (Grades 7 and 8), Intermediate Level (Grades 9 and 10) and Senior High School (Grades 11 and 12).
