PANGASINAN STATE U IN NEED OF TWO MORE MEMBERS FOR SCHOOL BOARD OF REGENTS
THE PANGASINAN State University announced it is still looking for two private sector representatives to the Board of Regents lineup.
Minimum requirements for the job include being a prominent resident of Pangasinan province, at least 40 years old, must not have a criminal history, successful, and must be in the industry of business, profession who can help PSU.
Likewise, applicants should have at least five years of experience in managing a business or corporate governance, must not be connected with the university for the past two years before their nomination, must not be currently employed to any government position, and must be available to serve the school.
Deadline for nominations is until October 21, according to the Facebook page of the university.
Nomination forms are available at the university website, or at its Lingayen Campus’ Office of the Board Secretary.
PSU’s current board of regent lineup is as follows: Ronald Adamat, Commissioner, Commission on Higher Education; Dexter Buted, President, PSU; Sen. Joel Villanueva, Cong. Mark Go, House of Representatives; Nestor Rillon, Regional Director, National Economic Development Authority San Fernando, La Union; and Armando Ganal, Regional Director, Department of Science and Technology. San Fernando, La Union.
Completing the board are Nestor D. Domenden, Regional Director, Department of Agriculture, San Fernando, La Union; Elmer C. Vingua, President, Federated Faculty Association, PSU; Joseph Lopez, President, Federated Alumni Association, Lingayen, Pangasinan; Je-ann De Vera, President, Federated Student Government, PSU; Ramon Bautista, Representative, Private Sector; Diosdado Celzo, Representative, Private Sector; and Ailene Batang, Acting University Board Secretary.
Meanwhile, classes at PSU started last September 14 using a flexible learning scheme.
