LEYTE NORMAL U ENTERS PACT WITH INDONESIAN, JAPANESE UNIVERSITIES
THE LEYTE Normal University signed agreements on international collaborations with two universities in Indonesia and one in Japan.
It entered into memorandums of agreement with Indonesia’s BINUS University, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and Ritsumeikan Uji High School Japan in February.
These agreements cover student and faculty exchange programs and academic collaborations on instruction, research, and community extension.
The signing of the agreements is part of its goal to become one of the leading universities in Southeast Asia.
Representatives from BINUS and UPI aired their commitment to the partnership.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with you and wish your university every success in the future,” Dr. Diah Wihardini, director of BINUS University Global in Indonesia, said.
“I am delighted that Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has recently joined hands to collaborate in many areas, such as student exchanges, visiting scholars, and joint research. It is my sincere hope that we will work together more closely for many years to come for the benefit of not only our universities but also for the global community,” Prof. Dr. M. Solehuddin from UPI said.
