IMUS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL HAS MORE ENROLLEES THIS SCHOOL YEAR
A TOTAL of 10,898 students have enrolled in Imus National High School, exceeding the number of enrollees in the previous year amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Department of Education Calabarzon Regional Director Willy Cabral said more than a hundred percent have enrolled in Imus NHS compared to last year.
Imus NHS has conducted hybrid dry runs for both online and modular learning. Also, it has built a virtual learning studio for easier teaching and recording of lessons during the course of the online learning.
Converge ICT Solutions has installed free fiber optic WiFis in schools for the implementation of blended learning.
Calabarzon meanwhile has more than three million enrollees for this school year and is in “advanced level” of preparations for the opening of classes.
Cabral recognized the support of the division offices and local government units to the DepEd as it transitioned to the blended learning approach, which he believes will be successful despite being new to both the teachers and students.
