iACADEMY OPENS SHS SLOTS

/ 3 March 2022

iACADEMY has opened the last few slots for Senior High School (Grades 11 and 12) for School Year 2022-2023.

“Our programs in Senior High School really prepare our students for employment. In fact, even if they are just graduates of Senior High School, when they are done with their courses especially in our specialized subjects, they can be hired in many companies because the courses that we offer are very much in-demand,” Rheal Dayrit, SHS principal, said.

Other game-changing programs in iACADEMY Senior Highschool include Humanities and Social Sciences Accountancy, Business, and Management, Fashion Design, and Robotics.

iACADEMY is one of the few institutions to offer strands such as Animation, Software Development, Audio Production, Graphic Design, and Media and Visual Arts with specialization in Multimedia Arts that are especially designed to provide practical and hands-on training and address the growing need for multidisciplinary individuals in the tech and creative industries.

“We’ve always had a Program Advisory Council which meets regularly, not just to update our curriculum but to understand how this curriculum is relevant and remains strong with the demands of the industry as well as the potential business landscapes that they could withstand through time that they would remain relevant and vital to any industry success,” Raquel Perez-Wong, the school’s Chief Operating Officer.

iACADEMY SHS utilizes the project-based learning approach which enables students to showcase their competencies by coming up with forward-thinking solutions to actual and complex problems.

Both SHS and college students in iACADEMY are extensively trained by highly competent teachers and professors who are constantly enriching their academic and practical knowledge through research and industry practice.

With over 200 industry partners, iACADEMY also guarantees that students who enroll for SHS and college obtain the best practices in the industry through various mentorship programs and intensive internships which may not be provided by other institutions in the country.

“What is really very striking is the fact that our students get to interact with the professionals and with the industry practitioners so that the knowledge that they know is not only found in books. But these are the things that would be demanded from them. They already have a foretaste of what is to work in the actual industry set-up,” Dayrit said.
