THE DEPARTMENT of Education found a major backer among parents, who are in total support of distributing learning modules to students.

Parents belonging to Guisad Valley National High School (GVNHS) started delivering learning packets to students, which the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) of DepEd-Baguio City said is part of the dry-run for the Learning Continuity Plan.

The full cooperation shown by the parents, according to DepEd-Baguio City, is proof that ‘education is a responsibility of the whole community’.

“This initiative and act of kindness simply show that every stakeholder owes for the education of the youth. Together, we can move forward and give our children no less than the best that they deserve,” DepEd-Baguio City said in a statement.

The department also extended its appreciation to the barangay and volunteers in supporting them of giving education to students even on their own homes.
