CPU DECLARED FREE FROM THREATS
THE CENTRAL Philippine University is now free from any threats following a bomb scare reported on Saturday (04 Jan 2025) morning.
According to the university’s official student publication, management cleared the campus of any danger by Saturday afternoon after thorough inspections.
“The declaration was made after a bomb threat was reported at CPU earlier today,” the report stated, noting that the Jaro Police Station received the initial alert from the university at around 11 a.m.
As a precaution, the university temporarily suspended operations, with law enforcement securing the campus and its surrounding areas.
The administration assured the safety of students, staff, and visitors, announcing that regular operations will resume as scheduled.
