CATANDUANES STATE U GRADUATE GETS 100K CASH REWARD
A GRADUATE of the Catanduanes State University received a cash award for placing sixth in the Master Plumbers Licensure Examination.
Divina Vivero Gonzales got a 85.70 percent score.
She received P100,000 and a certificate from the school through its president Dr. Patrick Alain Azanza.
It was the first time in the university’s history that a P100,000 cash incentive was granted to a board topnotcher.
The Professional Regulation Commission said that 2,247 out of the 5,107 examinees passed the exam.
The top performing schools with 10 or more examinees with at least 80% passing rate are the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (91.67); Camarines Norte State College Daet (84.38); UP Diliman (84); Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (80) and Baliuag University (80).
