ATENEO INKS AGREEMENT WITH SINGAPOREAN UNIVERSITY
THE John Gokongwei School of Management of the Ateneo de Manila University has inked a partnership agreement with the Singapore Management University.
Ateneo said the partnership will offer more educational opportunities in the fields of accounting, finance, management, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Under the agreement, Ateneo graduates may apply to pursue advanced degrees at SMU through an accelerated process.
These include the Master of Professional Accounting, Master of Science in Accounting (Data & Analytics), Master of Science in Applied Finance, Master of Science in Quantitative Finance, Master of Science in Management, and Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
“Facilitated by Ateneo JGSOM and SMU’s International Office and schools, this initiative underscores the significance of applying regional perspectives in pursuing future careers in a globally interconnected world,” the university said.
“The new partnership celebrates the strength of cross-cultural education, regional networking opportunities, and a deeper understanding of business practices across Southeast Asia,” it added.
To support students during their journey, Ateneo students who choose to apply and are successfully enrolled in SMU’s MPA, MSA, MAF, MQF, MIM, or MEI programs can access tuition discount, waiver of the SMU Admissions Test fee, and additional course exemption discounts per eligible course.
Exceptional Ateneo candidates applying for the SMU MPA or MSA programs may also be awarded the Partner University Scholarships, based on merit.
