ADAMSON U DECLARES 4-DAY ACADEMIC BREAK
THE ADAMSON University declared a four-day academic break to give its students time to recover from their “post-election” stress.
The break will be from May 13-16, 2022.
All classes and work in offices will be suspended on those dates.
“The intensity of emotions that many of our students felt after election has left most of them unsettled and confounded. What they feel, we feel as well,” University President Fr. Marcelo Manimtim said in a statement.
However, Manimtim said all pre-scheduled institutional activities for May 13 and May 16, 2022, including the Annual Physical Examination, will continue.
He encouraged members of the community to use the break to recharge, reflect and heal.
“May we all find peace and comfort in one another as we deal with the challenges ahead of us,” Manimtim said.
