3 FILIPINO STUDENTS WIN IN CHEMISTRY INT’L TILT
THREE Filipino students bagged awards at the 53rd International Chemistry Olympiad held from July 25 to August 2.
Ron Angelo Gelacio from the Philippine Science High School main campus and Nathan Wayne Ariston of PSHS-Central Mindanao campus each won a silver medal.
On the other hand, Aames Juriel Morales of the De La Salle University Integrated School secured the bronze medal.
This year’s competition was scheduled to be held in Japan, but it was conducted virtually because of the Covid19 pandemic .
The week-long olympiad was participated in by 309 students from 79 countries.
Recently, six Filipino students also emerged victorious in the 62nd International Mathematical Olympiad.
