THREE persons, including a former mayor, were killed by a lone gunman inside the Ateneo de Manila University on Sunday.

The slain victims were former Lamitan, Basilan mayor Rosita Furigay, her aide Victor George Capistrano and a security guard.

Also critically injured during the incident was Furigay’s  daughter Hanna.

AdMU Vice President for Administration Rudy Ang said that the former mayor was to attend her daughter’s law school graduation.

According to the Quezon City Police District, the shooting took place at the Gate 3 of AdMU along C5-Katipunan Avenue.

The police arrested the suspect.
