MALABON STUDENTS RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID FROM CITY GOV’T

/ 7 May 2026

A TOTAL of 388 students from Tinajeros National High School received educational financial assistance from the Malabon city government, Mayor Jeannie Sandoval announced.

Each beneficiary received ₱1,500 as part of the local government’s ongoing efforts to support the education of young Malabueños.

The distribution was conducted on campus, allowing students to personally receive the assistance.

Sandoval said the initiative, though modest, is intended to help ease the financial burden on students and their families while encouraging them to continue their studies.

“This simple assistance is part of our ongoing commitment to education. In our own small ways, we hope to give students the motivation to keep going and achieve their dreams,” the mayor said in a statement.

The city government reaffirmed its commitment to investing in education as a key pillar of community development, underscoring the importance of collective efforts in securing a brighter future for the youth.

The program is part of Malabon’s broader education support initiatives under the banner #MalabonAhon, which aims to uplift students through accessible and sustained assistance.
