A LAWMAKER has partnered with Far Eastern University to expand access to higher education through tuition discounts and financial assistance for qualified students.

Congressman Edgar Erice formally signed a memorandum of agreement with the university, granting students tuition discounts ranging from 20 percent to 40 percent, depending on their chosen degree program.

The initiative also enables eligible beneficiaries to receive ₱10,000 in educational cash assistance through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), helping ease the financial burden on families.

Erice emphasized that education remains one of his top priorities, describing it as a vital foundation for the future of Filipino youth and the nation.

The partnership forms part of his continuing efforts to roll out programs that expand opportunities, reduce education-related expenses, and create more pathways for students in the second district to pursue their academic goals.
