CALOOCAN CITY GRANTS CASH INCENTIVES TO UCC LATIN HONOR GRADUATES

/ 28 April 2026

THE LOCAL government of Caloocan, led by Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, awarded cash incentives to graduating students of the University of Caloocan City (UCC) who earned Latin honors for Academic Year 2025–2026.

Malapitan said magna cum laude graduates received ₱10,000 each, while cum laude honorees were given ₱5,000.

The initiative fulfills the city government’s commitment to recognize and reward academic excellence among local scholars.

The mayor said the incentives aim to acknowledge the students’ intelligence, hard work, perseverance, and dedication throughout their academic journey.

“On behalf of the City of Caloocan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on your achievements,” Malapitan said.

The program is part of the city’s continuing efforts to support education and motivate students to strive for excellence under its “Aksyon at Malasakit” campaign.
