DLSU TOPS FIVE FIELDS IN 2025 THE WORLD RANKINGS
DE LA SALLE University has been recognized as the country’s top higher education institution in five fields of study in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject.
DLSU excelled in Arts and Humanities (601+), Business and Economics (801+), Education Studies (401-500), Psychology (401-500), and Social Sciences (801-1,000), reinforcing its leadership in diverse academic fields.
The university also secured rankings in three other disciplines: Computer Science (1,000+), Engineering (1,251+), and Physical Sciences (1,001+), showcasing its comprehensive academic capabilities.
Dr. Ador Torneo, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, emphasized that while rankings are important, DLSU’s core mission remains to bridge faith and scholarship while serving society, particularly the marginalized.
Dean Torneo highlighted the Psychology program’s debut in the rankings, attributing the achievement to the faculty, staff, and students’ commitment to mental health advocacy and community-centered research.
Meanwhile, Dean Dr. Emilina Sarreal of the Ramon V. del Rosario College of Business credited the recognition to their dedication to excellence and innovation, aligned with their vision of “business as a force for good.”
Deans from various colleges also pledged to sustain the university’s excellence and address global academic and societal challenges through innovation and collaboration.
