ADAMSON UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SEEK ACADEMIC BREAK
STUDENTS of the Adamson University requested for a four-day academic break to give them time to rest and relax for their well-being and mental health.
The Adamson University Student Government said that the break would also allow officials to evaluate the school’s flexible learning program.
In a letter to the school administration, the AUSG asked for a break from October 7 to 10.
The group said a break is needed since online classes have brought stress to students.
“We deem it necessary for everyone to have the time to take a break and reflect on what happened during this preliminary examination and assess and resolve the current situation regarding students’ and professors’ concerns about the conduct of online classes,” the group said.
It added that the break would provide the school community time to cope with continuous adjustments that we’re currently facing.
The school administration has yet to respond to the group’s request.
