THE WESTERN Visayas State University was recognized by the Civil Service Commission for promoting the government’s vaccination campaign against Covid19.

The university was given a certificate of recognition for hosting the vaccination rollout for Iloilo residents through the WVSU University Medical Center.

The commission bestowed the Certificate of Recognition to the West Visayas State University – Region VI “for its delivery of exemplary service, through the tireless commitment, resiliency, and priceless contributions of its government frontliners and workers, amidst the Covid19 pandemic.”

The university also paid tribute to its medical center.

“[WVSU UMC] went above and beyond its duty during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in responding to the health crisis,” the university said on its website.
