THE CAMARINES Sur Polytechnic Colleges on Wednesday warned the public against fake donation drive that uses the name of the school.

CSPC said that there are reports that some individuals who claimed to be former members of the school’s board of trustees duped several individuals.

“CSPC has not authorized any individual to use its name for purposes of solicitations or donations,” CSPC said.

“[The college] further appeals to the general public to be vigilant against individuals and their modus operandi and to be united in helping curb this crime,” it added.

The school is seeking legal actions and other measures against the individuals behind the scam.

It also urged those who encountered similar concerns to reach out to authorities immediately.
