THE BOHOL Island State University named its 3rd president — Dr. Anthony M. Penaso.

Penaso on Thursday received the nod of the BISU Board of Regents after a series of deliberations.

The Senior Craftsmen’s Voice, BISU’s official student publication, reported that Penaso has taken his oath as president.

He is the 5th president since the school was formed.

Penaso served as vice president for Academic Affairs and dean of the Graduate School of the Central Mindanao University. He also served as the second president of the Caraga State University.

Penaso replaced Commission on Higher Education Regional Director Dr. Maura Consolacion, the officer-in-charge of the university.
