CENTRAL LUZON STATE U TRAINS CHED OFFICIALS IN BASIC FARMING
THE CENTRAL Luzon State University conducted a training program on farming for the officials of the Commission on Higher Education.
The training is part of the university’s 28th founding anniversary celebration.
CHED officials learned how to produce food through Indoor Vertical Farming System and through Hydroponics.
“Isa sa mga kilalang tatak ng CLSU ay farming, that is one of your brands. We know that you are the experts in this field that is why we are here,” Cinderella Filipina Benitez-Jaro, CHED Central Office executive director, said.
“If there is an SUC who can give education/training to CHED employees on agriculture and inspiration to the community, it will be and it should be CLSU,” she added.
The visitors were also given a tour of the Small Ruminant Center, Philippine Carabao Center, Agriculture and Food Technology Business Incubator and the Zen Garden in CLSU.
