THE ROMBLON State University was named one of the top-performing state universities for having the highest number of accredited programs in 2021.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines gave the award to RSU during the 35th AACCUP National Conference.

Dr. Mildred Ho, executive director of AACCUP, congratulated the university and expressed hope that the school will continue to maintain and promote higher education excellence by accrediting programs and institutions with passion, honesty, dedication, and commitment.

The RSU plans to submit at least 20 academic programs for AACCUP accreditation this year.

Meanwhile, the RSU community applauded the newly elected officers of its Alumni Association.

They include John Kelly Madeja, president of the College of Arts and Sciences; Ricmel Falqueza, vice president of the Institute of Information and Technology; Lara Ann Fajarito, secretary of the Institute of Criminal Justice Education; Archie Gao, treasurer of the College of Education; Reden Escarilla, auditor of the College of Engineering and Technology; and Rodel Falculan, public information officer of the College of Agriculture, Fishery and Forestry.
