The Professional Regulation Commission cancelled the Licensure Examinations for registered electrical engineers and master electricians in Cebu scheduled on September 5, 6, and 7, 2021.

The PRC said that the suspension was in pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases decision placing Cebu under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Affected examinees in Cebu may take the next schedule of the licensure examinations without forfeiture of their examination fees, PRC said.

The Licensure Examinations for REE and RME in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga shall proceed as scheduled.

“PRC requests the public’s utmost understanding and cooperation as it complies with the guidelines set forth by IATF-MEID as Covid19 concerns continue to rise,” the commission said.
