CATSU NAMES AZANZA NEW PRESIDENT
THE CATANDUANES State University has a new president — Dr. Patrick Alain T. Azanza.
The CatSU Board of Regents elected Azanza on Thursday through a special meeting which presided by BOR Chairman and Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Dr. Aldrin A. Darilag.
He succeeded Dr. Freddie T. Bernal, who ran the university since August 1, 2020.
Azanza’s term started on Friday, June 25, 2021. He will have a four-year term. He is CatSU’s 7th president.
Azanza got his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from the University of the Philippines through Presidential Scholarship grant. He also holds a Juris Doctor Diploma from the UP College of law.
He studied his post-doctoral program in Harvard University, a diploma in Human Resource Management at the University of California, and Human Capital Management at the Asian Institute of Management.
