2 ENGINEERS FROM BATANGAS STATE U RECEIVE INT’L AWARDS
TWO engineers who graduated from the Batangas State University were recognized by international award-giving bodies for their contribution to sustainable development in construction and for promoting the Philippines as a premier business destination.
Felix Veroya bagged the Young Leader of the Year award at the 2020 Asia CEO Awards for promoting the Philippines as the premier business destination for global enterprises.
He was also part of the Circle of Excellence finalists under the Entrepreneur of the Year Category.
The CEO Asia Award honors individuals and organizations in business, innovation, leadership and development.
Meanwhile, Engineer Jessica de Torres won the Highly Commended Plumbing Engineer of the Year award at the 2020 Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Middle East Awards.
Torres was honored for being a consistent contributor to the sustainable development of the construction landscape in the Middle East. She works as the Senior Public Health Engineer of Ramboll, a leading engineering, architecture and consultancy company in the United Arab Emirates.
The MEP Middle East Awards recognizes those who helped drive down costs and ensure adherence to best-practice standards on innovations, technology and processes.
