The second installment of Teatro ni Juan’s online musical anthology is a playable interactive-narrative. In BKNW Rising’s Ikalawang Kabanata: TAGU-TAGUAN, viewers can forge a character’s path through dialogues and various audio & visual prompts for an immersive decision-making experience.

TAGU-TAGUAN introduces the moon siblings in their quest to find the missing Bulan, the youngest of the 7. Finish the journey and the next song from the musical awaits for you in the end.

Best experienced using a PC/Laptop and headphones (with limitations for devices on iOS 13 and up), the 30-minute online game features illustrations by Kim Lalata & Ayel Leonardo, Sound Design by Mychael Yandoc & Junelle Tecson, Gameplay Design by Clarisse Ilagan and Script & Direction: Mikko Angeles.

All episodes are available on bknwrising.com. The penultimate episode will then be released on the upcoming Lunar Eclipse (Nov 30.)

Adapted into an original musical, the lore of the Bakunawa is truly fitting for the times as it challenges society’s fanaticism to uncover the dark reality we continue to live in; shedding light on establishing identities and drawing the thin line between a hero and a villain, of myth and reality.
