Nike shook social media as it announced its new product early this January. The Nike Air Zoom Pulse was tagged as shoes that’s “built for and tested by nurses.”

According to the Facebook post it “combines cushioning and flexible traction for a comfortable, natural feel that lasts through long shifts on dry and slippery surfaces. The durable design is easy to clean, pull on and take off to keep you ready for the unexpected.”

The footwear costs ₱6,445 and is available in two colors: White/Pure Platinum-Blue Hero and Black. At the moment only selected stores like Nike MOA, Glorietta 3, Trinoma, Ermita, and Ayala Cebu offer this design.

Of course, there were different reactions/comments from netizens about this. Most of them were pointing out its price.

Nevertheless, this idea of making a tribute to our everyday heroes is great. Let’s just wait and see until other brands do the same, but hoping this time, they’ll make it more budget-friendly, so that everyone can afford it!
