UAAP HOLDS LOGO DESIGN CONTEST
The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) has announced that it is seeking submissions for a logo that will be used beginning Season 83.
The logo will serve as the collegiate league’s signal for its return to sports action after a two-year dry spell due to the pandemic, the league’s first since its inception in 1938.
“This is the perfect time for a rebirth, if you will, a renaissance, if you will, and it’s a perfect time to do something like this,” UAAP executive director Atty. Rebo Saguisag said of the contest.
The UAAP will accept entries for its logo design contest beginning September 1 at 10 a.m. and ending September 30 at 4 a.m.
According to the contest rules, each participant must submit only one design in either Adobe Photoshop (.psd) or Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format, as well as a JPEG (.jpeg) version with an image resolution of 300 to 400 pixels per inch and no watermarks.
This contest is free to enter and will be open to participants aged 18 and up. Proof of enrollment from a UAAP student-participant should be submitted.
The grand winner will receive a cash prize of Php100,000, a trophy, and a certificate, while the second and third placer will receive Php30,000 and Php10,000 respectively.
