THE UAAP streetdance championships witnessed a remarkable achievement as the University of Santo Tomas dominated both the college and high school competitions held yesterday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In the college division, UST Prime, showcasing an enthralling ‘Lego’ theme, secured a resounding victory by edging out National University’s Dance Company with a mere two-point lead, accumulating a total of 448 points.

The University of the Philippines Street Dance Club claimed the third spot on the podium with an impressive score of 437.5 points.

Meanwhile, the reigning champions from 2019, La Salle Dance Company Street, finished in last place with 420 points.

Adamson University Dance Company-Street narrowly missed out on a podium finish, earning 434 points, closely followed by the Company of Ateneo Dancers with 430 points and the Far Eastern University Street Alliance with 428 points.

Additionally, UST Galvanize demonstrated their prowess in the high school competition, securing their first-ever championship title with an outstanding score of 437.5 points.

Adamson’s Dance Company Street SHS claimed second place with 393.5 points, while FEU-X rounded off the three-team field with a score of 376 points.
