TOTS CARLOS OFFICIALLY GOES PRO WITH CREAMLINE, SKIPS FINAL YEAR IN UP

Creamline Cool Smashers continued to stockpile for its three-peat attempt in the PVL Open Conference as it announced the commitment of UP standout Tots Carlos on Thursday.

Carlos was formerly with Motolite but the team filed for a leave of absence in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) due to the global health crisis last January.

In her stint with the Power Builders, Carlos clinched the Best Opposite Spiker plum during the PVL Open Conference in 2019.

The 22-year old also had joined Banko Perlas Spikers and Philippine Superliga (PSL) club Foton in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

As the pandemic scrapped the UAAP Season 82 Volleyball Tournament, many players jumped into the pro scene including Carlos.

As Carlos turned pro with the Cool Smashers, she will be foregoing her final UAAP year with the University of the Philippines (UP).

She took charge of UP into its championship bid during the 2018 PSL Collegiate Grand Slam and bagged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award as well.

PVL is gearing up to open its first-ever pro season set tentatively in May at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna and will be expecting to start training again once it got the go signal from IATF.
