According to the Team Board Governor and Manager Richard Bachmann, Thoss has not officially retired and was added as a free agent of the team.

“Not yet but I guess, I’m sitting out. But not officially [retiring],” Thoss propounded in an interview over The Link podcast.

For his 15 years of playing in the professional league, he did just no prove his love for basketball but also for being a good family man.

Where ‘The Boss’ chose not to heed to the Bubble Cup for his concern in this time of pandemic is being with his family.

Yet, one man cannot really give up for his passion especially for Thoss who has played basketball for most of his entire life.

“So if everything works out, the vaccine comes out and Alaska is still interested in having me on board, I’m more than willing to join for one more conference,” Thoss averred.

The Boss of the court is surely one of the personalities to look for in this PBA league.

Where Sonny was a 12-time All-Star, 4-time PBA Mythical Second Team, 3-time PBA champion, 2-time PBA Mythical First Team, and a recipient of the Sportsmanship award.

And considered by  Barangay Ginebra coach Tim Cone as one of his all-time favorites to coach.
