The team announced the arrival of Fayde on the team’s official Facebook page.

“The squad is complete. We’re ready for the new season. Please welcome Secret Fayde to our VALORANT roster,” the team wrote.

Fayde first appeared on Team SMG that led to winning several B-tier tournaments, namely the AE League: Conqueror and Cyber Games Arena Pacific Open. In both tournaments, Team SMG ousted their rivals, Team nxl.

His greatest achievement was steering SMG to a runner-up finish in the Valorant Champions Tour 2021: Southeast Asia Stage 1 Masters, giving his team 70 VCT Circuit Points.

He then took his talents to BOOM Esports as an analyst that took the squad to a second-place finish in the SEA Esports Championship 2021.

Aside from Fayde, Team Secret also recruited Jeremy “Jremy” Cabrera which has raised more speculation about Jessie Cristy “JessieVash” Cuyco’s future with the team, as there have been hints of his potential departure.

Fayde will be put to the test on February 10 when Team Secret debuts at the VCT 2022: Philippines Stage 1 Challengers.
