TEAM SECRET, FENNEL ADVERSITY TO BANNER TEAM PH IN WCS 2022

The inaugural Wild Rift Champions SEA (WCS) will commence in February 2022 where Team Secret and Fennel Adversity will banner the Philippines.

Following a successful qualifying on February 13, Team Secret and Fennel Adversity were qualified and invited to the Wild Rift Champions SEA (WCS) five-week best-of-three double round-robin regular season on February 25.

The Philippines will compete alongside Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in which the top six teams will be picked to advance to the WCS Playoffs to play in the two-week, double-elimination playoffs from April 1 to 10.

LF Adoption, Rex Regum Qeon, Cerebrum Wildrift, Sunsparks, and GrindSky Esports were also invited to represent the country.

Indonesia will be having MBR Gamma, BOOM Esports, Echo Fortius, Persis Esports, The Black Horse, Pasopati Esports, Papa Gaming, Cursed Moon; and Taiwan and Hongkong will showcase their gunplay skills with ONE team, Flash Wolves, TQQ Esports, MESPORTS, QWQ, PVP, LFD, FTG.

Mind-game strategies will be observed from Malaysia and Singapore’s Sem9, Reach the Peak, Upcar Esports, Team Watermelon, TODAK, PathSeeker.

The WCS will be completed by Thailand’s EVOS Esports, Buriram United Esports, INVATE Esports, Lynxeno, Alchemy, Oxygen, Mercenary New Generation, Arctic Fox, and Vietnam’s SBTC Esports, MDH Esports, Team Flash, Cerberus Esports, Saigon Phantom, Royal Palace Esport, AS Esports, The Legendary Ganker.

The top four teams in the finals will advance to the Wild Rift Icons Global Championship, which will be held in Europe this summer.

Filipino fans need not fear because the WSC matches will be featured in both Tagalog and English on Wild Rift Esports on YouTube and Twitch, as well as WCS Philippines on Facebook.
