SEA GAMES BOUND GANUELAS-ROSSER TO MISS OUT PBA DRAFT COMBINE

Prospective top pick Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser will likely skip the annual PBA Draft on Sunday due to duties for the 31st Southeast Asian Games bound in Hanoi, Vietnam as part of the Limitless App 3x3 men’s team.

Ganuelas-Rosser will join along with Reymar Caduyac, Marvin Hayes, and Jorey Napoles, together with coach Willie Wilson are set to see action in Hanoi starting on Monday.

The 3×3 tournament is scheduled to be held on May 13 and 14, where the country will be defending the crown in the men’s and women’s divisions.

Meanwhile, the Draft is set for 4 p.m. at Robinson’s Place in Manila.

The 6-foot-7 with a high motor and a knack for shot creation that won four of the 12 leg titles and the first-ever grand winner of the PBA’s half-court tournament is shaping up as the overall top pick of this year’s annual selection.

The 23-year-old Rosser will miss out on the two-day Draft Combine to be held May 11 and 12 at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.

The league decided to hold the Combine this year to showcase the talents of around 75 applicants after suspending the tournament in 2020 and 2021, respectively, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Manager Paolo Bugia and team governor Atty. Raymond Zorilla will follow on Wednesday to accompany Limitless App, which is the 3×3 team of the Phoenix franchise.
