Sanman Promotions bolsters its roster with Santisima, Jerusalem, Domingo
“We will do our best to lead their careers into the bright direction,” said Sanman Promotions top honcho Jim Claude Mananquil after Jeo Santisima and Melvin Jerusalem found a new home in Sanman Promotions.
The 24-year-old Santisima and the 26-year-old Jerusalem were released by the management after the unfortunate closure of ALA Promotions last August.
Along with the two, SanMan also signed flyweight prospect Esneth Domingo.
“We are flattered that WBC top-ranked Jerusalem, Santisima, and Esneth Domingo decided to trust us,” Mananquil added.
Santisima and Jerusalem were the latest ALA talents to hook up with a top promotional outfit, “We will guide them to reach the ultimate goal which is to win a world title. Indeed, we are excited for these fighters.”
Santisima (19-3, 16 KOs) and Jerusalem (15-2, 9 KOs) both vied for world titles in the past, but both failed in their respective bids.
Jerusalem failed to get the strawweight title belt with a unanimous decision against champion Wancheng Menayothin for the World Boxing Council (WBC) in 2017, while Santisima lost by TKO to Emmanuel Navarrete for the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight crown last February.
Meanwhile, Domingo has a 13-1 record with 7 KOs.
Following the signing of the three boxers, Sanman also announced a partnership it reached with Japan-based ZIP management of Nobuyuki Matsuura and Mhavic Kamiyama.
The promotional tie-up will help Sanman expand the market of its fighters in a boxing-crazy country like Japan.
