PBA disclosed that the D-League standout officially submitted his application on Friday, joining Manila Chooks teammates Alvin Pasaol, Santi Santillan, and Troy Rike.

The six-foot-four swingman initially started in the ABL as the ASEAN heritage import for Saigon and Kuala Lumpur.

But it was in the PBA D-League, as well as his performance in Chooks 3×3, and even in international 3×3 events that his career reached its peak.

He played for the AMA Online Education where he pinned a massive 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game in the 2019 Aspirants’ Cup and declared as the No. 1 overall pick in the league.

In addition, Munzon is the first-ever player in D-League history to score 40 points in a game more than once.

He is a top-tier competitor in the 3×3 circuit and has competed in several FIBA 3×3 World Tours for professional clubs.

He is set to compete in the FIBA 3×3 Olympic Qualifying tournament in Graz, Austria this May.

As of Saturday, Munzon is projected as a first-round choice in this PBA rookie draft bringing the list to 42.
